Prayers were led by the Mayor’s Chaplain, Father Ling.

To receive addresses from the Leader of the Council, Councillor Nick Daubney, following the resolution passed in Council on 24^th March 2016 that the Council places on record its deep appreciation of the eminent services rendered by former Councillors:

            John Loveless

            Anthony Lovett

            Trevor Manley

And that in recognition of such service, the Council confers upon them the title of Honorary Alderman.

In accordance with the decision of the Council at its Meeting on 24 March 2016, Councillors N Daubney and A Beales  spoke in support of the resolution to place on record the Council’s deep appreciation of the eminent services rendered to the Council by former Councillors:

Mr Anthony Lovett

Mr Trevor Manley

RESOLVED: That the title of Honorary Alderman be conferred on former Councillors: Mr John Loveless, Mr Anthony Lovett, Mr Trevor Manley.

The Mayor presented to the newly appointed Honorary Aldermen illuminated engrossments of the resolution and Aldermanic Badges and they responded to the Council’s conferment of the title.
