Declarations of Interest

A Kemp was present under Standing Order 34 and asked questions/made comments.

 

The King’s Lynn Riverfront Regeneration Area

 

The Planning Policy Manager outlined the detail in the King’s Lynn Riverfront Regeneration Area Briefing Note which had been circulated to the Task Group.

 

Officers present responded to questions and comments.

 

The Task Group commented that a range of residential accommodation, more boating activities and a Doctor’s surgery could be included in the proposed mixed use for the Riverfront Regeneration Area.  Officers advised that any proposed scheme would need to be viable and would be required to satisfy the Site Specifics Flood Risk Assessment.

 

AGREED:  That a general policy for the regeneration area be inserted and the document discussed today would form part of the preamble and would be presented to the Task Group at a future meeting.

 

Policies

 

The officers highlighted the changes to the policies set out below and responded to questions and comments.

 

The Task Group considered the following policies:

 

Policy E1.12 King’s Lynn – Employment Land Policy

 

RESOLVED:  The Task Group agreed the policy.

 

Policy E1.13 King’s Lynn – Green Infrastructure Policy

 

RESOLVED:  The map on page 170 be expanded and additional supplement text be inserted as discussed by the Task Group.  The amendments suggested would be presented to the next meeting of the Task Group.

 

Policy 9.3 West Lynn

 

Policy E1.14 West Lynn – Land West of St Peter’s Road

 

RESOLVED:  The Task Group agreed the policy.

 

Policy E1.15 West Lynn – Land at Bankside

 

RESOLVED:  The Task Group agreed the policy, subject to the provision of cycle storage to serve the West Lynn Ferry.

Policy 9.4 West Winch

 

Page 210:  Number 7 to be deleted as it was a duplication of 6b.

 

RESOLVED:  The Task Group would continue to discuss this policy at the next meeting.
