To consider passing the following resolution:

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

RESOLVED:          That under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972 the public be excluded from the Meeting during consideration of the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

To interview candidates for the vacancy of Independent Person to the Borough Council’s Standards Board.

The Appointments Panel met to interview three candidates for the Independent Person Vacancy on the Borough Council’s Standards Committee.

RESOLVED:  That Ms A Orchard be appointed as the Independent Person on the Borough Council’s Standards Committee.
