Definition of a Garage

 

The Planning Policy Manager undertook to clarify the definition of a garage by Norfolk County Council standards.

5.

Declarations of Interest

Please indicate if there are any interests which should be declared.  A declaration of an interest should indicate the nature of the interest (if not already declared on the Register of Interests) and the agenda item to which it relates.  If a disclosable pecuniary interest is declared, the Members should withdraw from the room whilst the matter is discussed.

 

These declarations apply to all Members present, whether the Member is part of the meeting, attending to speak as a local Member on an item or simply observing the meeting.

Members Present Pursuant to Standing Order 34

Members wishing to speak pursuant to Standing Order 34 should inform the Chairman of their intention to do so and on what items they wish to be heard before the meeting commences.  Any Member attending the meeting under Standing Order 34 will only be permitted to speak on those items which have been previously notified to the Chairman.

Local Plan Review - Housing Numbers and Places

Minutes:

The Planning Policy Manager/Senior Planner provided an overview of the Local Plan Review, in particular relating to the housing numbers.

 

The Planning Policy Manager/Senior Planner responded to comments and questions relating to:

 

·         How many homes the Borough Council need to plan for within the Local Plan period.

·         Potential impact on the local housing market.

·         5 year land supply.

·         Deallocation of sites.

·         Government ambition to deliver 300,000 homes per annum.

·         Housing Delivery Test.

·         Strategic growth sites - level of Borough Council input, infrastructure requirements and available funding.

·         Employment areas.

·         Neighbourhood Plans.

·         Community Infrastructure Levy.

 

The Task Group adjourned at 11.20 am and reconvened at 11.27 am.

 

10.

Local Plan Review: Strategic Policies, Development Management Policies, Document Structure and Layout

Minutes:

The Task Group received an overview on the Strategic Policies, Development Management Policies, Document Structure and Layout from Planning Policy Manager, Principal Planner (Policy) and Water Management Officer and the CIL Monitoring and Compliance Officer.

 

Officers responded to comments and questions relating to:

 

·         The work being undertaken for the Local Plan Review – strategic policies and development management policies.

·         Consultation exercise to be published on the Council’s website where members of the public could access the document and submit comments.
